Capture is built to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data.
The extension records screen, tab, and webcam video and captures screenshots only when you start an action. All recordings, screenshots, and settings are processed and stored locally on your computer (in your browser storage and your chosen download folder).
Nothing. We do not run analytics, do not require sign-up, and do not send your captures or browsing data to us or any third party. Your content never leaves your device through this extension.
The browser permissions we request (such as tab capture, screen capture, storage, and downloads) are used solely to record and save your captures on your device. They are not used to track you.
You stay in control of your files. Delete a recording, screenshot, or the extension's stored data at any time from the extension or your browser, and it is gone.
The extension is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.
